Back To School For HumV

H4 woke up this morning a little frustrated. His nose was a little clogged. This is part of the drainage thing with his eyes. The clog that was fixed yesterday was down in his nose. That's why his eyes watered so much and became goopy. Instead of the water from his eyes going down into his nose to drain like it's suppose to, it had to go out his eyes because there was blockage/clog keeping it from flowing properly. The doctor told us yesterday after the procedure, that he heard the pop and felt the pressure breaking through the clog. He also said that he was for sure able to break through it. But in order to keep it open and from clogging again we have to continue giving H4 eye drops 4 times a day and massaging the area for 2 weeks. He doesn't like either one. One of the nurses took the time to show me how to put drops in his eyes without him pushing me away. It's still not the most pleasant thing to do and you (I) really need to have an extra set of hands to do it, but it's all good. I have it figured out even when he twists and turns and tries to escape.

HumV found out yesterday that he leaves on Sunday to go to class in Appleton, Wisconsin. He'll be there for a week then come back home to work for a week. After his one week of work he goes back up to Appleton for another week of class. The exciting part of his classes being in Wisconsin is that he'll be able to go up north a bit further and visit with his dad for a couple of days. We would love to go with him to visit, but we will be staying home.

We will keep things together just in case we go out and about within the next month!

Sorry to hear about the stuffy nose and the drops...giving kids drops is so hard especially when you have to do it alone. Good luck. That is good for Humv that he gets to see his dad while he is away from you all and that it will only be a week at a time. I will say prayers for safety.
