Whew! Baby "E" is finally sleeping. He has only taken two 15 minute naps today. The first one gave me enough time to feed the older 4 (my niece is with us today) and clean up that mess. During the second nap I had just enough time to help "T" with his math. He is now awake and moving around. So now we will load up to take "L" to a friend's house. No, wait! He went back to sleep!!! I get to keep blogging for a few more minutes!!
If you are wondering, no, I do not have everything unpacked. In fact, I have just taken it up to my bedroom and left it. I am attempting to clean the house downstairs. Hubby says just take one room at a time. He says it in a calm, understanding voice because he knows that I want it all done NOW. He also knows that I wouldn't stop until it's all taken care of and that I tend to lose my patience if it doesn't get done in my time. I may need to stay up a bit later at night but that's my only time I get to read blogs. I sit in bed, in the dark (Baby "E" is in our room, and in our bed while Hubby is away) reading blogs until about midnight. That's my relaxation before bed. AAHH.
Our house is in desperate need of attention, and paint but that's another post. When we left for Minnesota the end of July, the house was nice and clean. After that job, we were home for 5 days. In that 5 days the house was hit with a tornado (not a real one, just us). We were unpacking and trying to figure out what to take and what to leave. It's a mess that's all I can say. We now have mail scattered all over and clothes and stuff. Baby "E" thinks it great, he thinks it's all there for him. So for a good laugh, picture me running around in circles putting the same stuff away in the same places about 8 times a day. It's like it's my first time to have a baby and nap time is like the only time I get to clean. The only cleaning that gets done is the same cleaning that I did the last time he took a nap. Have the older children help you say? NO WAY!! They are perfect upstairs, that's where they need to stay until the house is completely clean (that's where they choose to be, I don't make them stay up there). When they come downstairs, there's another mess in whichever room they were in.
I am now taking a break. I am rethinking my plan on cleaning. My rethinking will probably take the rest of the evening. Oh wow! It's now supper time! Better go, break's over! Have a great evening!

Good luck with the cleaning plan. I am sure it is difficult after being gone so long too.
Loved catching up with you with this post. My favorite part though was when you felt like you needed to let us know that they LIKE to be upstairs, not that you chain them up there. LOL! Can't wait to lock them in Brandi's basement with my Things. Good times!!! xoxo Ang
Sounds like fun! NOT! Cleaning is to time consuming! Wouldn't you rather blog? hee hee Can't wait to hang out in a couple of days! xo
I would definitely rather blog! And yes, I felt that it was important to let everyone know that I didn't make them go upstairs. But if anyone should want to come by for a visit, please call so I can take the chains off their doors, I mean, touch up a bit.
We are so excited about seeing all of you too!!!
