We Are Home, Again

Well, we are home. We arrived home around 8:30 Saturday morning and have pretty much been on the run ever since. This week H1 has had Volleyball Camp Monday-Thursday and then started in with soccer practice on Tuesday and then again tonight. H2 has had Football Camp in the evenings Monday-Thursday. In between all of their sports we have ran errands and made time to take H1 out for her birthday dinner at T.G.I.Friday's. It's been a bit crazy.I love this picture! I took it last night at the end of Football Camp (obviously, notice the sweat). I love to watch H2 play football because that's where his heart is. He has loved football since he could through a toy ball, a little younger than 2 years of age. He knew all of the teams and their mascots/logos by the time he was 4. He and HumV had a collection of helmets that H2 would carry around with him. This boy LOVES football. But my favorite part . . . his sportsmanship. He has been a quarterback in the previous years of playing. He enjoys that, but he also likes to try out other positions. When his team makes a touchdown, he runs in and chest bumps the person that made the touchdown. However, when their are opposite team members that are still down on the field, he gives them his hand and helps them up. He is very positive with the opposite team, telling them good job on plays and touchdowns and high-fiving them. He has watched Brett Favre throughout the years. So between H2's personality and having a great rolemodel in his dad and a football rolemodel with Brett Favre (both on and off the field), he has become a wonderful player. He's a lot of fun to watch.

(I will cover H1 and H3 when I have pictures of them playing their sports.)

I am excited to have tomorrow off from all the running so that I can finally unpack.

I love it and yes he has loved football since the day I met him! I think he came out with his hands in the football carrying position :) H1 is looking waaaaay to grown up!!!! She is beautiful.... she has the body of a runner, soccer and volleyball player! I'd rather see her playing basketball but...... I know thats not where her heart is :)
Hearts and Hugs to all
