Busy, Busy, Busy

Life has gotten in the way of blogging lately, can you believe it? Goodness! We have had so many things going on lately, like you I'm sure. Thank you for taking the time to stop in and check on us.

Since we have been home we have had football camp, volleyball camp, football practice, soccer practices (for 2 children), football games, volleyball practice, back to school, back to school night (meet the teacher type of things), H1's skate party and then whatever else came our way. I am worn out thinking about it all again. Whew!
The children LOVE school!! I'm thankful, but then again how will this affect us next year when we go back to homeschooling? I am very glad they are enjoying it though and reconnecting with their friends. I had forgotten about the meetings and the programs and everything else the schools require from you. Ugh, really? And you feel like a bad parent if you miss any of it. Plus the kids get so excited to have you go to their classroom and all the extra stuff.
They are also VERY excited to be back in sports. In fact, H1 tried out for the volleyball team and made it, YAY!! So we are excited for her and can't wait to watch her play. H2 in LOVING football and is SO excited to be back with his coach he had a few years ago when he played. It scared me a bit to think of what kind of a coach he could get. H3 is SSSOOO happy to be back in soccer also. He seems to have a wonderful coach also, I have only met him once for a brief moment. Normally I'm dropping each child off at different locations only to have to retrace my steps and pick them all back up shortly after I dropped them off. There's not much time in between each stop. I look forward to being able to watch them play soon!!

As much fun as it sounds like we are having, we are terribly missing HumV. We have been without him for too long already. It's almost been 4 weeks since we left him in Ohio and honestly, it's driving us both crazy. We all miss him SSSOOOOOOO much!! We are REALLY looking forward to seeing him in a couple of weeks (hopefully) for Labor Day weekend. (We also have someone else that's coming that weekend that we will introduce you to later.) If he doesn't get to come home, well, I'm not even going to think about that. We're being optimistic!!

I would love to leave you with tons of pictures, but my computer went down again. We have a back up system, but I don't know that the computer is back to being 100% so I don't want to download everything just yet. So, until I download them again, here are a few that we took over the weekend.
And just because I know you'll read this . . .LOVE YA HONEY!!! And because we don't say it too much over the phone (because we'll both get emotional), we all miss you so much!!
