We have visitors this weekend! My mom and "K" got here around 2:45 a.m. our time on Friday morning. We had a full day yesterday of running around. We went to the mall down the road so that "L" could get an outfit that she earned. She has found a new favorite store, 'rue 21'. Then went to the grocery to pick up a few things for the weekend. We returned to the hotel just in time to see most of the college kids that were checking in for the weekend. There is some kind of track meet or something along those lines going on in this area today. All of the hotels in the area are full of college kids. After being up in the room for a little while when we got back, we found out that our floor wouldn't be the quiet floor this weekend!
The college kids actually surprised us. In fact, we didn't have any problems with them. It ended up being an older lady that surprised us. While cooking on the stove or just during the day for air and a more open feeling, we prop our door open about a foot or two. You can't really see much if you walk by our room, just the bar. However, early Friday evening not too long after we had gotten back from shopping, an older lady popped her head in the door (to our room!) and said, "oh you have a little one!" She had looked in and had seen "E"! My mom and I just looked at each other in shock! We couldn't believe that someone did that! We had 3 and 4 year olds staying across the hall from us last weekend and they didn't even come in our room! Surprised us!
Later today, Hubby's dad is coming in! We will have a room full this weekend! It will be a lot of fun!
