Sean

Update: Thank you so much for your prayers. Sean did great! And well, so did the doctors, we'll give them lots of credit too. :) When I talked to my dad around 12:30 they had just taken him back to be weighed and such. The plan was that Sean would have to stay the night at the hospital. However, when I talked to him around 5:30 the plan had changed! In a positive way of course! They were waiting for Sean to wake up fully so that he could go home! Yay!! Things turned out better than the doctors had planned for. They removed the tumor and sent it off for a biopsy. Should receive information on that in about 2 weeks. Thank you again!

Today please think of my nephew, Sean. Sean (in the picture on the right) is 4 days younger than our H4 and is having surgery today. He bumped his head a couple of weeks ago and his parents noticed a bump on his soft spot. After MRI's and CAT scans the doctors now call it a tumor. However, this tumor had nothing to do with him bumping his head. This tumor is being removed today. Please keep him and his parents in your prayers today. Dad (Bampy), please correct any of this if it's wrong.Spring break is here, and I'm ready for it to be over all ready. I love having H1 home, but quite frankly, she's wearing us down. "Mom, can I walk over here (with a couple of her friends that have just about LIVED HERE). Mom, can we walk to the park, Mom, can we, Mom, Mom, Mom, MOM, MOM, MOM, MOM!!!!!!!" OK ALREADY!!!! I feel that now is the time that I should tell you that your mom went away for awhile. She'll be back next week when you're back in school and going to track and have your normal busy life back and don't feel the need to be moving at a speed of 500 mph!! I love her dearly, but she feels that she HAS to be doing something AT ALL TIMES. She must have gotten that from her dad, because I could go weeks/months without leaving the house. If it wasn't for church, I probably would go weeks without leaving.

Anyway, it has been a VERY interesting week. Would I care to share? No, no, no, you all have your own parental things going on. It has been a learning experience for both HumV and I. And it will be a learning experience for H1 also, because she is now grounded.

We will enjoy the rest of our week.

I will pray for Sean and I hope that parenting a teenager gets a little easier for you. I am not there yet, so any advice is welcome:)

Arent teenage girls fun. I found out that if you are the house with the homemade cookies cake or cupcakes or snacks that is the house all the friends want to be at so that way your child gets to stay home and everyone comes to them. Its expensive but in the long run you know where the girl is at. And its kind of fun to have all those girls running around. Fingernail polish, makeup, hairdriers, and movies I miss those days

Is Sean the one I'm thinking of???? Is it Bampy's wife's son's child? Ok that sounded crazy, It would be way easier to just call and ask.....LOL!!! I will say lots of prayers I know how scary all that can be. I also know how frustrating coming into a teenager can be....if you want to vent feel free to call....you know I've been there a time or two!!!! Love ya girl! My 18 year old will be lucky if he makes it to graduation in 1 month and is still breathing and I'm not joking!!!!!

My brother in law found out about his brain tumor because he had an MRI done for a different problem.

I am praying that this early discovery will mean a full recovery.

In prayer,
