Baby "E" has to go to an Opthamologist on Monday for an evaluation on his eyes. Since he was born, his eyes have gooped up bad. They seal shut when he naps, not all the time, but a lot more than they should and they water all the time. His doctor was waiting, hoping they would heal themselves, but that hasn't happened. Monday should just be an evaluation. We'll know more after that. From what I have heard this is pretty common. In fact, his doctor's daughter had to have it done too. His doctor was fabulous in setting up an appointment soon just in case we left in February.
The most popular question lately is, "do you have your Christmas shopping done yet?" No, I don't. I have a lot more done than I usually do. How about you?
On top of doctor appointments and Christmas shopping (that we have done mostly online), "L" and I sorted through her clothes and things. We now have a trash bag of clothes for the dump, a box of Goodwill clothes and a lot of clothes folded on our floor ready to box up and give to friends. Now that "L's" closet and room is cleaned out (not clean, just cleaned out) maybe I could finish straightening up the rest of my house!! Family Christmas on the 20th, that's my deadline.

Poor baby is right. I hate those shots that have more than one round. What a pain.
Good luck with the shopping. It has been tough this year for me...but I am finally finished. Yee haw.
Ok... my Elijah had the eye goopy for so long. He had clogged tear ducts. He was scheduled to see a specialist for this procedure... so I went to work for two days putting hot compresses and other homeopathic remedies to clear his little eyes. OH my goodness, between that and praying my heart out... it worked.
Not sure if it was that or if they cleared up automatically, but I was so grateful.
I hope all goes well.... and NO I too am not done with my Christmas shopping.
Poor Baby E! I hated those Dr. visits..I always felt like the bad guy! I'm not finished shopping either! I'll be praying for E's eyes! xo Keli
